Click, Clack...
Did I mention that I love this time of year? The chill in the air can only mean one thing..FOOTBALL. There is just something about the sound of football cleats hitting the pavement that I love. Banners and tailgate parties. Hot chocolate and hand warmers. Boys with their skinny legs running out on the field, looks of determination on their faces. Dad's pacing the sidelines yelling calls to their kids. Lines being divided between friends and neighbors over Utah or BYU. Don't get me wrong, I love baseball too. Someone once said,"Baseball happens to be a game of cumulative tension but football is played with hand grenades and machine guns." Click, Clack can you hear us coming?
Here's our little cheer squad. Kade and GG both wore Wasatch jerseys with Baxter on the back. It was so cute to see them down on the sidelines watching the game with those jerseys on. Everyone in the bleachers could see the Baxter Boys.

We Must Protect This House!!
The coach in this video reminded me of Jared yesterday. It was an awesome game! We love FoOtbAll around here. You have to scroll down and pause my music before playing this video.

First day of School
Kade's "girlfriend" is also in his class this year. This morning, he actually let me put gel in his hair and he was running around the house looking for Tag's cologne. I am in trouble with this one.
Garrett is starting first grade this year. His teacher is Ms. Chavez. He was so excited when he got home today and was able to recite to me everything off of the lunch menu. I was worried that he wouldn't make it through the day and kept expecting the phone to ring. I have begged him all summer to take Kindergarten over again so he could be home with me but he didn't fall for it. He told me that I would have Harley to talk to. I think today was harder on me than it was on him.
