Sea World

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today...

I think that my boys liked Sea World the best. I don't know whether it was all the cool marine life, the shows or the all you can eat wristbands that they had..

Jared and the boys rode on The Atlantis to many times to count. We probably should have gone on it earlier in the day because they were soaking wet and cold.

But then, we discovered these cool dryers that dried your clothes and your body in no time flat...

Universal Studios

Universal Studios was another favorite place for the boys.

The show, Water World , was Crews all time favorite. It had everything a boy could ask for fighting, water fights, fire, an airplane crash and a cute girl..

If I had know that the Jurassic Park ride would get us all so wet, I would have avoided the hour and a half wait!

Disney Land!

We seriously only had one week of vacation this year that didn't involve sports..Jared and I thought we would surprise the boys and take them to Disney Land. We told them that we were going to Arizona and packed up the rental SUV and took off to California. We were in our hotel and the three youngest boys still had no idea that we were in California! What a great surprise.

Crew and GG marching with the green army men from Toy Story

Probably not the best idea to take the boys on Tower of Terror for their first ride. I HATE this ride but went on for the boys sake. Garrett was done for the day.. Crew said it was awesome but that he never wanted to go on it again. So we sat outside while the boys went on it again.

Buzz Lightyear was a favorite.

None of my kids really wanted their pictures taken with any characters..until Tag saw Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. He stood in line for an hour. He played Tigger in the Disney program in third grade and has always had a fondness for these two guys.

Over the River and Through the Woods.....

To Grandma's House We Go...

I heart Christmas Eve. Even more than Christmas Day. The anticipation of what's to come. The barely contained excitement in my boys eyes as they try so hard to be on their best behavior. As if, they can make up for all their random acts of rottenness they have bestowed upon each other all year. My mom makes the best goodies on Christmas Eve. We eat so much salt that you are drinking gallons of punch to make up for it. The kids hurry and eat so that they can open grandmas presents. The adults just want to talk and catch up. Of course, we picked the worst day of the year to do that.

Then we hurry home so that we can get ready for Santa's arrival.

Of course, what would Christmas Eve be without new pajamas?

Dad reading "The Night Before Christmas" then off to bed.

It takes a lot of hard work for Santa to reach everybody in one night.

Runs in the blood..

Little Wasp Wrestling

Garrett finally decided that he wanted to try wrestling this year.

He was all pumped up and ready to go for his first tournament.

Didn't matter if he was winning or losing, this kid ALWAYS had a grin on his face.

Maybe another State Champ in the future.
