First football game

They didn't let just anybody in that club

Took every ounce of heart and sweat and blood

To get to wear those game day jerseys down the hall

Kings of the school man, we're the boys of fall

Crew anxiously awaiting for the game to start.

Jenn, the most awesomest cheer coach!

Crew helped the cheerleaders put up all the balloons

We had to go to the school at 6:30 in the morning to save our seats

Everything ready to go...So many last minute things being done even as people were coming in the gates.

Is this game ever going to start?

Ha! Wasatch's version of a jumbo tron...Pretty awesome we even had instant replays

There's my baby..

Ribbon cutting

We even had a skydiver bring in the game ball.

We ended up beating Grantsville by one point. What a fun first game that I'm sure Tag will remember forever.

Triangle F

Wyoming

After an awsome win against Grantsville, we packed the cars and left Heber at about 11:30 at night for our second annual weekend at the Triangle F Ranch. We got there at about 3:30 in the morning and were so grateful that Clint had gotten there ahead of us and turned on the heat. We were all exhausted but the kids were wide awake having slept the entire way there.

Crew and Emma, he just adores her!

There was a little creek that ran behind the cabin that the kids played in for hours.

On Sunday, we went up to the falls and let the kids play. The water was freezing cold.

Taking care of business.

Maddie, Becca, and Emma

This girl can look glamourous anytime of day....not talking about me!

Hunter, Zach, Brendan and Tag

Did I mention the water was cold? However, if you could cross over there was a nice hot pot.

GG, smiling as always.

Crew and Maddie....Tag is in for some competition.

We then went to a pool that was filled from a natural hot spring.

Olympics in his future?

Football Camp

The first group picture in the new stadium

Talem holding Kalems jersey.

The last day of football camp, the boys had a sleepover. I went early that morning to help with breakfast and it looked like World War 3! There was garbage everywhere. The cheerleaders stayed up really late and came over and bombed them with water balloons.

That night was the football banquet. I'm still not quite sure how they talked these boys into doing the Boot Scootin' Boogie but they did it and I think they actually had a good time.

If You Build It They Will Come.......

To Achieve Great Things You

Have First To Believe It...

After the new High School was built, there was money set aside to build a new football stadium. The question that remained was whether or not to put turf down in place of the grass. After a very long school board meeting, the vote was placed in favor of the turf.

The contractors promised us a July 31st finish date. It became obvious towards the end of July that it wasn't going to happen. We were all nervous and anxious as our boys were starting football camp whether or not the field would be ready in time for our first home game against Grantsville.

They finally started to lay down the turf. The bleachers and seats were all in place.

The score board finally showed up and was installed.

The "W" was painted in honor of Kalem Franco, Tags friend who died this summer in a drowning accident.

The boys were actually able to have a scrimmage on it the week before the big game. There is still lots to do... Hope it's ready for Fridays game.
