It was actually a nice spring Easter weekend at our house. On Saturday, the boys colored eggs. Of course instead of the pretty, crafty ones that I had envisioned, they were pastel versions of the Yankees, Red Sox, and Diamond Backs. Tag did grace us with his presence for a moment, but he clearly didn't see the same joy in this family affair as did the rest of the boys! The Easter bunny came while we were at church. Garret and Crew were so excited to see the eggs all over the yard as we were pulling up from church. Crew didn't know which way to go, he was running all around saying Egg! Egg! spinning in circles and jumping up and down. Tag and Kade would spot the eggs and point them out to Crew. Garrett was really good at sharing and not taking all the eggs. Afterwards, they searched the house high and low for their Easter baskets. It took them awhile, but it was worth the wait. We stayed home this year and it was nice not to have to be in a hurry to go anywhere. We had a yummy dinner and played outside.
